Our claim is 'Vivi con Gusto!', "Live with Taste!". Pedemontana Parmense is, in fact, a land of excellence, an extreme synthesis that leads back to the good life expressed by the essence of a 230 square kilometers territory, where live 50.000 inhabitants.
Our tourist district extends over the municipalities of Collecchio, Felino, Sala Baganza and Traversetolo, between the high plain and the first hills of the Parma province, enclosed by the Taro and the Enza rivers. A land in the heart of the so-called “Food Valley”, famous in all over the world for the Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Salame di Felino and wines like 'Malvasia'.
Pedemontana Parmense is a rich and productive area, capable of facing the challenges of the present and the future, thanks to industrious and sensitive communities that live here, managing to act together through an inestimable volunteer network, without giving up their unique identities.
These places express a privileged harmonious relationship with the environment and its natural wonders: the Pedemontana Parmense hosts two regional parks included in the macro-area of Western Emilia, the river Taro and the Boschi di Carrega, to which a vast environmental oasis along the Enza river.
During your stay, you will be catched by the charm of an artistic and monumental heritage of great value, which includes medieval castles, nineteenth-century villas, cycles of frescoes and modern art collections, and delighted by the taste of local food and wine.
